Gabriel got mommy’s phone again…

“Brother - I can roll around & get to your toys now!”

“Mom, I’m stuck in a letter & mad about it!”

Staring super-intently at the kitty.

Got a second-hand pack-n-play to keep in my office at school. She’s good with it!

Uncle Michael might have given these bongos to Gabriel, but Rebecca’s considering taking them over.

Gabriel’s first soccer game! He’s the #15 in a sleeveless jersey. His team won and he did a wonderful job. He only touched the ball with his hands once - but at least it was to turn the ball to go the right way down the field! Also, notice how big he is compared to the other Kinder & 1st graders on his team.

I think we can officially say we’re a soccer family now. ;-) At least for this season.

Like father, like son. Time to organize some Pokemon cards.

I snuck this picture as he quietly read all his old books in Rebecca’s room. It brought back fond memories of his after-breakfast-book-club.

Went to get him for dinner and found him asleep, surrounded by books. Kindergarten is hard work!

Mommy has a group of friends & colleagues that we call the Brain Trust. We work together on many music education projects and presentations for conferences. They were kind enough to make Rebecca this onesie when she was born and she’s finally big enough to wear it.

“Mom, I bounced myself to sleep.”

Yes, that’s a mark on her forehead from where it was resting on the toy a few minutes before.

Friday afternoon snuggles between our cuties.

Baby cereal - yum! Solid foods, here we come.

The same day as starting solid foods we decided to try out putting her in a cart instead of carrying the heavy carseat around. She was a fan! (As long as she could have one leg/foot propped up inside the cart, that is.) And yes, it was at Target because of course it was.

Looking extra cute for church today.

She’s incredibly strong & will sit up for super long stretches if there are fun toys in reach.

The transformation of kicky piano into sit-up-piano.

After screaming at the nurse for giving her 3 shots at her 6-month appointment, she promptly fell asleep.

Hearing the Dr talk about how strong & healthy she is must have been inspiring. That night she crawled for the first time!

Jaylin (our nanny) was super excited to help Rebecca practice crawling the next day. Look out world!

First nap in the pack-n-play in mama’s office. This is what work looks like today.

Sometimes on Friday afternoon you just have to fall asleep waiting for dinner. Kindergarten is exhausting!

Watching brother’s soccer game and being the cutest one there. :-)
