Reading and cuddling with him before naps is some of my favorite time. Especially when he falls asleep before the book is even done.
For Father's Day dad wanted a cake for dessert. It was a perfect excuse to practice cake smashing one more time before the official photo shoot. And the practice turned into a pretty cute photo shoot too.
It gets really quiet in the other room and I think "what's he doing?!?" and then I find him reading silently to himself. This less-than-1 year old is amazing. :-)
"Mom, let me help you fold clothes and put things away. I'm really good at it!"
