Let's go have fun!

Dad was extra excited that it was comic book day at the museum and the Batman '66 car was available for pictures. Gabriel didn't quite understand the hype, but he's in training to love the very best comics.

Train tables! Gabriel had great preparation for this adventure from hanging out with his buddy Aiden, the train master.

First time playing with duplos! Confirms that it's time for us to get some of our own.

Such intense concentration as he figures out a new toy.

At first we were pushing him in the stroller but then decided to let him walk around and choose where he wanted to go. We couldn't believe how steady he was walking around. He's getting so stinkin' big!

Looking out the front of the train engine. Perhaps a conductor in training?

Checking out the bunny in the "how to be a vet" exhibit.

Learning how to grocery shop with dad.

Of course we had to play piano! No hesitation at all. He jumped right to it.

Next it was into the reading corner. So many books to choose from.

But perhaps better than the books (if there is such a thing!) was the guinea pig. He was right at Gabriel's level.

And our final stop of the day was the water table. So many fun toys to move the water around. And of course he's going to love any chance to splash.

After a morning playing hard we walked down the street to try a new restaurant for lunch. Dad was pretty smitten with how grown up this boy is so he kept snapping pictures.

When he hits his fists together he's asking for "more." It's a very, very common request while eating.

And after such a big day, no one was surprised when he fell asleep almost immediately in the car on the way home. The 10 minute drive was just too long to stay awake (especially when mom brought along Lamby for extra sleep comfort). It was straight from the car to the crib for a nice afternoon nap.
