This kid is too cool, hehe.

2nd trip to the park in one day. This time on the bike instead of in the stroller.

The sky continues to amaze me! The clouds do amazing things here.

Family snuggles!

Erich is in town! Philip's best man was in Colorado and the pieces fell into place for them to enjoy an evening together.

We're doing a family music class for the month of July! Hopefully it will continue into fall semester, but we want to dip our toes in first and see how Mr. G does. As you can see, he's loving it. :-)

Our playgroup crew! It's been a wonderful summer playing at our neighbor, Karla's, house and making new friends. 4 young ladies, all about a year old. Gabriel was the "big brother" and did a great job with the girls.

Um, Pounce. That bed is not yours...

The library has excellent toys! After story time each week, Gabriel has a great time playing while mama picks out books.

Dada's teaching Gabriel how to catch 'em all. You had to know he was going to jump on Pokemon Go. ;-)

The library held an event at the fire station that's right next door. Gabriel was a little young to really focus on the helpful info they were trying to share, but he enjoyed shouting "cruck, cruck, cruck" at the huge truck.

Such a sweet boy. This is what "waiting for dinner" looks like (on good days).

Our first birthday invite in Greeley! Robbie (the son of one of my work colleagues) turned 7 and had a party at a local gym. Gabriel made friends with Ben, 18 months, and Philip made sure the boys had lots of (safe) fun on a trampoline.

Pizza, fruit, cake, and new friends. Already so grateful for our new home.

Lots of fun at the birthday party, but it went through naptime, so we had some nice movie & snuggle time.

On top of starting music class, we're also taking a parent & tot swim class this month. G prepared for our first class by observing everything at the pool.

After our 30min swim class each day, we head to the kiddie pool. Gabriel has to step on every fish on the floor and then goes down the slide repeatedly until I force him to stop. :-)

Yet again, such beautiful skies here! This is out our kitchen window. Not a bad view for washing dinner dishes.

I'm tellin' ya, every Saturday has to include books.

Time to put all these boxes to some use! We're practicing sorting colors. He still only says the color "blue," but he definitely knows the difference between the colors, even if he isn't verbalizing it yet.

And more repurposed boxes! It's not the most glamorous addition to our eating area, but the box tunnel is providing lots of fun for the toddler (and the kitties).

Gabriel sure does love cake pops from Starbucks. He's only had a couple (special treats) and I'm so impressed with how he manages to eat them. Although, I suppose all kids figure out how to eat cake, anyway they can. ;-)

Finally got to try the "Mo'Betta Gumbo" restaurant that features cajun & creole food. Yummy stuff - especially the beignets!

Poor guy had a random bug that included a very high fever for 24 hours. A before-dinner nap in the box fort is just what the doctor ordered.
