4-month check up: 13lb 1.5oz (25th percentile), 1’ 11.5” tall (12th percentile), 15.85” head (38th percentile). Perfectly healthy and developmentally on track!
Already rolling over consistently. She did it a few times, inconsistently, right at 3-months old. But now it’s intentional and a form of locomotion for sure.
She sits up in her high chair and pretty strongly when we set her on the floor or in our lap.
Does very well with tummy time. Only fusses sometimes.
Still sleeping in her cradle, in our room, at night. Right at 4-months she had one good week sleeping through the night, then a few rough nights (getting up once to eat), and then another solid week of making it through. We think we’re in the home stretch!
She also sleeps in her bouncy chair, swing, our arms, the Baby Bjorn, the car seat. Just about anywhere.
She hangs out in her crib and will nap in there with no problem.
She’s eating 5-6 times a day. Right at 4-months we started gently moving her toward a schedule to make all our lives a little smoother. So far, so good.
She can hold her own bottle reasonably well! She definitely wants to - sometimes depends on how heavy it is. Usually 7oz.
She’s quite the trooper and goes along with us on all adventures with her brother. She’s almost always happy and willing to go with the flow. It probably helps that she adores her brother!
Her onesie in these photos is how we told Gabriel he was having a sister. He opened the box to discover Wonder Woman (instead of Superman). Wonderful she indeed is!
