Easter morning started by playing with pretty, new Easter egg gels on the window.

The fun continued with a hunt for the Easter basket!

And then, of course, we had to open every piece of the Easter basket. The Easter bunny did a pretty good job (at least for this 21-month old). ;-) Starting with chocolate! (Which he didn't realize was chocolate since it was in a wrapper.)

Then a set of Dr. Seuss lacing cards that he desperately wanted from the daycare book fair fundraiser.

Socks! Growing boys need clothes at every gift giving occasion, right?

"Socks are nice dada, but is there anything else?"

How about some play-doh?!

And along with clothes, every gift giving opportunity comes with at least one book.

And there's one more thing...

Maybe mama wrapped them too well...

New sippy cups! And he knows exactly what to do with them. :-)

Now to play with everything some more.

While dada's getting ready for church, mama and Gabriel are going to attempt some egg decorating.

Limited success, but we did have some fun! We did dye some, but mom doesn't have enough hands to dye eggs with a toddler AND take pictures. ;-)

Hanging out before the service starts at church. Happy Easter!

After lunch we opened one of the chocolate bunnies from his basket.

"What do you mean it's all gone, mama?!?"

And while Gabriel napped, mama and dada worked hard on a nice Easter dinner. (It was mostly dada.)

First taste of a marshmallow Peep.

Since we couldn't fit all our desired activities into Easter-day, we continued the fun to the day after Easter. And, randomly, here is Gabriel's first pretzel stick. Mama was eating them for a snack and he wanted one so bad! The Marvin family will surely be excited. ;-)

Now for the Easter egg hunt! (Inside because the weather wasn't cooperating.)

And now some bath time with new Easter duckies from grandma & grandpa.

And the fun continued throughout the week, every time he got to eat chocolate or more of the Easter dessert cups. This was the chocolate bunny from grandma & grandpa.
