An amazing visit to the planetarium at Ball State. Big Bird, Elmo, and their friend from China gave us a great tour of the galaxy!

You might not be able to see much in the dark pictures, but Gabriel was captivated by the show. As Big Bird circled around the room (on the ceiling), he stood up and turned to follow Big Bird the whole way.

Oh joy... we've discovered a new place to perch during snack time...

A sick little boy is just no fun! When I picked him up from daycare he was looking really puny. It came on really suddenly, but he was clearly not ok. I'm so grateful that he waited until we got out of the car at home to throw up all over the driveway. We got cleaned up (with dad's help), came inside, and he immediately fell asleep on the couch.

No more throwing up (thank goodness!) but he was clearly not back to normal the next morning. So we juggled work plans and prepared for a day of cheerios, bananas, water, and Disney movies.

Sick days don't take away mama's work though. Grading and planning while the boy rests up.

The day after his sick day, he still wasn't eating great or feeling 100%. And mama desperately needed to make a Target run. So off we went and he got his first taste of popcorn!

Further proof he's my son - he loves popcorn!

April in Muncie can still bring snow/ice storms. So we got out of the house to...

Play at the Children's Museum!

He's just so snuggly! Even when he doesn't feel good.

Sometimes you just need to curl up with a kitty-friend and a good book.

Oh goodness! What's on his bottom?! Those would be big boy underwear.

We threw out the diapers (disposable ones that we rarely use anyway) and gave it a try but didn't have much success. We'll try again *after* the stressful move. :-)

We have this random line of concrete blocks in our backyard. They make a pretty great balance beam for Gabriel. And the way he puts his arms "back" instead of "out" is just precious.

Such a big boy! He's decided that he needs to carry his daycare bag each day.

Another morning on the couch. The bugs from daycare are just kicking our butts this semester!

We went to the local Youth Orchestra concert (just like last November). We only made it through a few songs before the very wiggly toddler decided he was done, but he really enjoyed the music while we were there.

Not a milestone I'm necessarily proud of... but it's the first Happy Meal! With a smiley cardboard box and everything.

Sadly we had a pretty awful doctor's visit, including restraining Gabriel through his first breathing treatment. So McDonald's was a "reward," and a super easy way for mama to take care of a very late lunch.

And bronchiolitis means the breathing treatments continue. :-( Our little champ became more tolerant with every treatment. Dada tried to help by wearing a mask too.

Mama had a viola choir concert and brought along the very cutest (and loudest...) audience members. Sadly all our blue coats highlighted G's black eye. But thanks for the cute pic Katrin!

This was the first time I found him, asleep, with non-soft toys in his bed.
