This was quite a big week for us. Mom went to the National ASTA Conference in Salt Lake City, UT. This was her first time away over night and it was for 4 days and 4 nights! Dad and Gabriel had a great time together and with our amazing friends. And mom did her best to hold it together from across the country. Thank goodness for FaceTime! These pictures were all texts from dad to mom so she could keep up with the happenings at home.
"Miss Bethany says I was a good boy!" (She watched him all of Wednesday afternoon after mom got on the plane and dad went back to work.)
"Then I played with Nathanael. He's a good buddy."
"When we got home from dinner at the Carters, we read Mr. Brown."

"Mom, I took an hour and twenty minute nap! And now I'm jumping. :-)"

"Good morning mommy! Daddy lets me talk in my crib longer than you do. ;-)"
Gabriel started army crawling while mom was gone! But the most crawling he did was toward her face on the computer during FaceTime so she's taking solace in that. This video is dad trying to get him to repeat his crawling performance.
"Too much adventure for this little guy."
And then mommy got home and we got some real video of army crawling! This was about the only time mom stopped cuddling him all day after getting home.
"Dad gave me a real good dinner! Applesauce and green beans but good thing he brought yogurt as a backup because I was not digging green beans. Dad even mashed up some of the butternut squash he had on his plate and shared with me!"
"Oh, my diaper leaked today, so we need to give these pants back to Nathanael one day."
"And finally dad put me in PJs, gave me a big smooch from you, and put me to bed."
"I like pureed blueberries! :-D"
"Pears and butternut squash for dinner are finger licking good! Yum!"
