He's been turning on & off his crib music for a couple weeks but this is the first time I finally got it on video. He's such a smartie.
Mommy & son roadtrip! Heading over to Ohio to see family & friends in case we have to move far away this summer. And grandma & grandpa & Uncle Mike are meeting us there!

Hanging out in Rocky River. Playing with Uncle Mike and then chilling with Uncle Tom at the breakfast table.
And then we finished our trip with a fun lunch with Prof. Joss and Prof. Rawlings. This kid doesn't know how lucky he is to have so many people that love him, but I sure know how lucky we are!
Not even 9 months old and he'll sit for over five minutes, quietly reading and "petting" his Baby Animals book from Aunt Hannah. Boy do I love this kid.
First nap in the "big boy" stroller. Making sure he can do it before leaving him with Miss Jess over nap time.
Thank you for the adorable onesie Aunt Chris! We're saving these pics in case he's actually designated "genius" one day. ;-) And I'm pretty sure all geniuses make an absolute mess on their way to success.
First stop is at Aunt Katie's. Rachel has super-awesome toys. And Katie's the best book reader. Gabriel has just started "helping" by turning pages. The concept of "library books that you need to be careful with" was a bit new.

First time using a high chair (and our fancy cover on it) at a restaurant. This boy is getting too darn big!
Speaking of getting too big - first bath in a regular tub! He needed a bath and we weren't carrying a baby tub to Ohio so we went for it. And thank you Candy for the fantastic new bath toys.
Future summer camps - Jared is totally babysitting. Gabriel loves him!
