We're so grateful he is usually such a smiley guy. :-) And he *loves* his owl from the Martins. He plays with the owl nearly every morning after breakfast.

Gabriel & mommy spend their days reading and studying. But Gabriel has much cuter clothes. ;-) Thanks Jared!

A favorite new trick I finally caught on camera! Anytime he's getting clean clothes or a new diaper he immediately bends in half and puts his foot in his mouth. It's actually pretty impressive how accurate he is when he wants only his big toe in his mouth.

So we've been talking about how mobile he is... He started in the middle of the blanket just a few minutes before this picture.

And he's figured out how to pull over his toy basket. Clearly mom doesn't know how to pick out the good toys.

First time in the Mei Tai on my back! He loves it. In fact, not long after this picture he was awfully quiet and I realized he fell asleep back there. The only issue is it's impossible to manage spit-up with him back there so we don't do this on bad spit-up days. Oh, and he loves my necklace that was a Christmas present from dad (really a present to both of us).

Being on "vacation" and hanging out with dad is hard work. But this was a very welcome sight for mom to come home to after her interview was all over.

"Oh, hi mom. Have you seen my sock? I pulled it off and left it somewhere."

We're on vacation! Well not really. Mom got an on-campus job interview in Potsdam, NY so this was our first time in a hotel room all together. Even after 8 hours in the car Gabriel had some smiles to share before collapsing in his pack-n-play.

Gabriel discovered how much fun water bottles can be! Now mom has to figure out how to use some water bottles to make fun "sensory toys" for him.

He really is such a good traveler. He only gets fussy when he really needs something or toward the end of the trip when we'd like to be fussy too!

Yep, he's asleep. Yep, he pulled off his own sock and pulled down his own hat. He was a tuckered little boy.
